Kiewit Power Engineers seeks a Senior Structural Design Engineer to join a growing team supporting construction through innovative design, structural calculations, and plan development. You will guide engineers, review designs, and manage tasks to meet client needs.

The role requires handling multiple assignments, leading projects, and ensuring compliance with codes and standards. Office locations include Lenexa, Lone Tree, New York City, or Woodcliff Lake.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 10–20 years of relevant experience in Industrial or Power Generation.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops and checks designs and guides less experienced engineers.
• Reviews and corrects engineering documents for accuracy.
• Leads projects and teams to meet budgets and schedules.
• Interacts with other groups to find best solutions for complex issues.
• Leads and mentors engineers and designers to achieve project objectives.
• Plans work independently and consults on technical details as needed.
• Ensures compliance with codes and standards across projects.
