Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking a Structural Engineer with a PE license for an established architecture and engineering firm in Kalispell, MT. You will lead structural design efforts across projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to turn innovative concepts into buildable realities.

The role requires 5+ years post-graduate experience, proficiency with Revit and structural packages, and strong communication.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience post-graduation from an accredited University.
Structural Professional Engineer (PE) License; SE designation a plus but not required.
Experience with wood, steel, concrete, and masonry building systems.
Strong knowledge of building codes and value engineering practices.
Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

Independently lead structural design staff throughout project design and construction phases.
Identify and solve problems with a goal to provide constructable solutions.
Coordinate with external suppliers, internal teams, and manufacturers.
Ensure structural designs meet company quality standards.
Use software to calculate gravity, lateral, and foundation loads.
Respond to contractors during construction.
