Job summary

Geoquest USA, Inc., based in North Richland Hills, TX, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (SSE) to lead design and analysis efforts for mechanically stabilized earth wall projects. The SSE reports to the Director of Engineering and oversees QA/QC, mentoring staff and coordinating with regional teams.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering, 5+ years of Geoquest experience, and a PE license in good standing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of applicable engineering experience at Geoquest.
• PE registration in good standing required.
• Ability to supervise design work and coordinate with staff.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and in-house spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Provide local technical QA/QC and mentor staff.
• Perform design and analysis of Geoquest products.
• Prepare construction plans and shop drawings with structural and geotechnical focus.
• Coordinate design projects with Regional/Division Manager.
• Sign off on final design where PE seal is required.
