Geoquest USA, Inc. in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join our team. You will design and analyze products, develop layouts from owner data, and draft shop drawings while ensuring quality across design activities.

The role requires a BS in Civil/Geotechnical/Structural engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD, and strong communication as you coordinate with multiple departments on civil projects related to MSE retaining wall systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited school.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil design concepts.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and teams.
• Understanding of civil engineering design principles applied to products.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze structural components using predefined methods.
• Develop horizontal and vertical layouts for products based on owner data.
• Create details for design plans and shop drawings.
• Quality control of design and drafting work on projects.
• Input wall draw programs and draft elevations from owner data.
• Use material takeoff facilities to prepare reviews.
• Support administration, training, standards, tools and procedures as needed.
