Job summary
Geoquest USA, Inc. (formerly The Reinforced Earth Company) is seeking a Civil/Structural/Geotechnical engineer to support design and engineering for regional projects.
The role involves coordinating design work with the Regional Manager, performing analyses, and ensuring timely submission of drawings and plans. The ideal candidate has a BS in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering and at least five years of relevant experience, with strong math skills and AutoCAD proficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural/Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited school.
- At least five years of applicable engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of route surveying and construction plans is a plus.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD is a must.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate design projects with Regional Manager for a specific region.
- Ensure engineering analysis and design are completed on schedule.
- Attend weekly engineering meetings to discuss design status.
- Incorporate and communicate owner-supplied information to develop plans.
- Identify design issues and coordinate with external personnel.
- Provide quality control of all design and drafting work in the region.
