You will work with owners and project teams to develop durable structures across manufacturing, food & beverage, and life sciences sectors.

The role requires a BS in civil engineering with structural emphasis, MS preferred, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Experience in the analysis and design of structures.
• Hands-on experience with structural engineering software (RISA, RAM, STAAD, Mathcad, ENERCALC).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT; knowledge of building codes and seismic requirements.
• Experience in industrial repair/remediation and greenfield projects is a plus.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design and construction documents for new structures and for structural upgrades as part of an integrated A/E team.
• Define facility requirements with owner or project manager.
• Oversee work of structural engineers and designers.
• Analyze and design concrete, steel, masonry.
• Produce structural calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and other deliverables.
• Develop designs from sketches into working details per codes.
• Ensure timely deliverables and exceed client expectations.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
