Bloom Companies, LLC in Milwaukee, WI seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer (PE) with 5–10 years of building design experience to lead projects across commercial, industrial, institutional and residential sectors.

You will collaborate with architects, contractors and clients, perform calculations, draft construction documents, review shop drawings, and contribute to Bloom's mentor-mentee culture to grow the team's capabilities.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis; Master's preferred.
• PE license required (SE license or interest is a plus).
• 5–10+ years of building structural engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, NDS, TMS).
• Proficiency with industry software listed in qualifications.

Mansioni

• Lead structural design across wood, steel, concrete, masonry, and foundations.
• Perform calculations, analysis, and draft construction documents and reports.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and support construction.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, assessments, and retrofit planning.
• Coordinate designs with architectural, civil, mechanical and electrical teams.
• Review work by junior staff and participate in the mentor/mentee program.
• Interact with clients, contractors and leadership to meet schedule and budget.
