Job summary

Hargrove Life Sciences, LLC is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a PE to lead the design and execution of complex industrial projects. You will apply advanced structural engineering expertise and mentor engineers within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include developing layouts, performing analyses, preparing specs and drawings, and coordinating with mechanical, piping, electrical, and process teams to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer licensure preferred.
• 6+ years of structural engineering experience in industrial facilities.
• Experience with IBC, ASCE, AISC and ACI standards.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of complex industrial and manufacturing projects.
• Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures.
• Prepare calculations, specs, drawings, and construction documents.
• Review others' calculations and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, electrical, process, and project teams.
• Support procurement with scopes of work, specs, and bid packages.
• Provide field support, site investigations, and construction assistance.
• Mentor engineers and promote interoffice collaboration.
