Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to drive execution on complex industrial EPC projects from Greenville, SC. You will lead civil/structural scopes, coordinate with teams, and deliver design packages with strong technical judgment.

The role emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, cost estimation, and field support. A Civil Engineering degree with structural coursework and 6+ years of experience are required; PE license is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of industrial civil/structural engineering experience
• Structural coursework for structural assignments
• IBC/ASCE/AISC/ACI knowledge
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; cross-divisional collaboration

Responsibilities

• Perform civil and structural design for complex industrial projects
• Apply advanced analysis and engineering judgment under general supervision
• Develop conceptual designs, structural layouts, and cost studies
• Produce estimate-level and detailed designs, calculations, and material take-offs
• Review and check calculations, drawings, and vendor documents
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and project leadership
• Support procurement through technical bid packages
• Lead or support project teams on scope, schedule, and budget
• Participate in interoffice execution and virtual team collaboration
