Job summary

Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is seeking a professional structural engineer to join our growing team across North America. You will design buildings, foundations, equipment platforms, and supporting structures for nuclear and industrial facilities, with travel up to 25%.

You will work under senior engineers, perform seismic analyses, and ensure compliance with North American codes and QA processes while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering is required.
• PE registration in at least one state is required or in progress.
• 5-10+ years of structural engineering design experience in nuclear, conventional power or industrial sectors.
• Experience in nuclear sector is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform as an individual contributor with supervision from senior engineers and managers.
• Design buildings and foundations, equipment platforms, pipe racks, and concrete/steel structures.
• Prepare quantities, estimates, and supporting documentation for projects.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards; follow QA processes.
• Interface with designers and other disciplines; review drawings before sealing.
