KPFF Consulting Engineers in Cincinnati seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of projects from concept to construction. You will establish and maintain client relationships while guiding teams of engineers and BIM professionals across KPFF.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, mentorship, and growth within a nationally recognized firm. The position requires a PE license, a civil/architectural engineering degree (MS preferred), and 8+ years of experience with strong

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering; Masters preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership of complex projects and client interaction.
• Strong background in project management, working with owners, contractors, and other disciplines.
• Proficiency with structural analysis/design software ETABS, RAM, and RISA 3D; working knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, and AISC standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects from concept through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and team resources.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor for engineers and BIM professionals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Oversee engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards.
• Participate in structural assessments, feasibility studies, and site investigations as needed.
• Foster a collaborative, mentorship-driven culture focused on technical excellence and growth.
• Support KPFF’s vision of building strong teams, client relationships, and impactful engineering solutions.
