KPFF is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Columbus to lead a diverse portfolio from concept to construction. You will build and maintain client relationships while guiding engineers and BIM professionals, ensuring high-quality, code-compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates bring PE licensure, 8+ years in structural engineering, and strong PM skills. The role offers growth, mentorship, and a collaborative, high-impact environment in a national firm with local focus.

Qualifications

• PE license is required. SE license preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Civil or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience including leadership.
• Strong client interaction and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Proficient with ETABS, RAM, and RISA 3D.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of structural projects from concept through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and team resources.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor for engineers and BIM professionals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Oversee engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and standards.
• Participate in structural assessments, feasibility studies, and site investigations.
• Foster a mentorship-driven culture focused on technical excellence and growth.
