KPFF Consulting Engineers in Lexington, KY is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of structural projects from concept through construction. You will establish and maintain client relationships, mentor engineers and BIM professionals, and collaborate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver technically sound solutions.

You will manage scope, schedule, budgets, and resources while upholding building codes and standards, driving technical excellence

Qualifications

• Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership.
• Strong project management and client interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects from concept through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and team resources.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor for engineers and BIM professionals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Oversee calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports; ensure code compliance.
