KPFF Consulting Engineers in Lexington is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead a portfolio of projects from concept through construction, building client relationships and collaborating with BIM professionals.

Qualifications

• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering; Masters preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience with leadership and client interaction.
• Project management experience with owners and contractors.
• Proficiency with structural analysis/design software ETABS, RAM, RISA 3D.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC standards.
• Leadership, mentorship, and business growth mindset.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and execution of structural projects from concept through construction.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budgets, and team resources.
• Serve as a technical leader and mentor for engineers and BIM professionals.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and internal teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Oversee engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and industry standards.
• Participate in structural assessments and site investigations as needed.
• Foster mentorship-driven culture and growth.
• Support KPFF’s vision of strong teams and client relationships.
