Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• PE or SE license required.
• 10+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong design experience in steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures.
• Experience with structural software such as RISA, RAM Structural System, ETABS, Enercalc, AutoCAD, Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis, design, and detailing for a wide range of building projects.
• Design steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and existing building structures.
• Manage project teams, budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

The Opportunity: Our client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer (10+ years' experience) to play a key role in the delivery of complex structural projects while helping to grow and mentor a high-performing team. This individual will work directly with clients, lead project teams, support business development efforts, and contribute to the continued expansion of the structural practice throughout the DC Metro region.

The position offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of projects across:

• Institutional facilities
• Utility infrastructure
• Existing building renovations and assessments
• New construction projects

Key Responsibilities
