Job summary

LVI Associates in Seattle seeks a Structural Engineering Project Manager to lead projects from concept through construction, serving as a technical and client-facing leader. You will guide teams, coordinate deliverables, and manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships.

The role emphasizes mentorship of junior engineers and collaboration with architects, owners, and BIM teams to push innovative structural solutions across commercial, residential, and institutional projects.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in civil or structural engineering.
• PE license and active professional credentials.
• 6+ years of structural engineering experience in building design.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural projects from concept through construction
• Coordinate engineering deliverables across teams
• Oversee analysis and design of steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures
• Review calculations, drawings, and construction documents
• Coordinate with BIM teams, architects, contractors, and owners
• Conduct site observations and support construction phase
• Review shop drawings and field questions
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and add-on services
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Mentor and develop junior engineers
