Job summary

Studio|LB, part of Lerch Bates, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and delivery of diverse structural projects in Aspen, CO. You will guide projects from concept through construction, mentor staff, and strengthen client relationships.

You will collaborate with architects and owners, supervise technical work, and apply sound engineering judgment to solve complex challenges in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural/Civil/Architectural Engineering or related field.
• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• 8+ years of structural engineering with leadership and PM experience.
• Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, timber, and foundations.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from proposal through construction.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, and profitability.
• Be primary client contact and trusted technical advisor.
• Forecast workloads and coordinate staffing for delivery.
• Monitor billing, WIP, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with quality standards.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
