Job summary

Studio LB, part of the Lerch Bates family, seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex projects from proposal through construction. You will serve as the primary technical lead, manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships, and mentor engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• PE/SE license required
• 10–15 years structural engineering experience
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, timber and foundations
• Strong budgeting, scheduling and contract administration knowledge
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software (Revit favored)

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering projects from proposal through construction completion.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, profitability, and overall project performance.
• Serve as the primary client contact and trusted technical advisor.
• Forecast workloads and coordinate staffing for delivery.
• Monitor project financial performance including billing and profitability.
• Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality construction documents.
• Provide contract administration support through design and construction phases.
