Job summary

Arup invites a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team across multiple U.S. offices, including Houston. You will design structures for diverse projects, perform seismic analyses, review submittals, and coordinate with engineers and architects.

With a Master’s degree and PE license, you will lead design efforts, mentor junior staff, and contribute to iconic projects while collaborating in a global, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent required.
• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• 7+ years of structural design/engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design structural elements for steel, concrete, timber and masonry buildings.
• Perform lateral analyses for seismic and wind loading.
• Prepare and review drawings and design calculations for submittals.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and contractors; review submittals and observe construction.
