Job summary

Siza- Buso Consulting seeks an experienced Associate Structural Engineer to provide technical leadership and oversee delivery of complex structural projects across multiple sectors.

You will lead analysis and design, manage projects from design through construction, coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and mentor engineering staff.

Positions are on-site in New York, NY; Los Angeles, CA; and Boston, MA. Relocation assistance is not available.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
10+ years of significant structural engineering experience with project or team leadership.
Professional Engineer (PE) and/or Structural Engineer (SE) licence.
Experience leading structural projects during construction.
Strong knowledge of structural analysis, building design and codes.

Responsibilities

Lead analysis and design of structural systems for diverse building projects.
Manage structural projects from design through construction and completion.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams.
Represent the team at client meetings, design reviews, and site meetings.
Conduct site observations and respond to technical queries during construction.
Mentor and develop engineering and drafting staff.
Oversee preparation and review of drawings, specifications, and documents.
Maintain high standards of quality, service, delivery, and performance.
Support business development and build client relationships.
