Job summary

EAPC Architects Engineers in Minot, ND seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and detailing of new buildings and major renovations, with responsibility for calculations, code compliance, and sign-off on own work.

You will mentor EIT staff, coordinate with architects and other disciplines, perform site visits, and help guide proposals and budgets. PE licensure and 8+ years' experience are expected; candidate must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S.
• 8+ years of structural design and detailing experience.
• Experience with steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
• Ability to sign and stamp own work and review others.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design, detailing, and calculations for buildings and renovations.
• Coordinate structural designs with architectural and MEP disciplines.
• Edit and write structural specifications.
• Mentor EIT staff and supervise CAD/Revit work.
• Perform construction administration and site visits as required.
• Assist project managers with budgets, scopes, and proposals.
