Job summary
Jobot is seeking a senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis across commercial, residential, and industrial projects in the Greater Milwaukee Area. You will review and stamp drawings, collaborate closely with PMs, architects, and contractors, and conduct site visits to verify design intent.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, a PE license, a Civil/Structural degree (Master's preferred), and proficiency with RISA/SAP2000/ETABS.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of structural engineering experience in the construction industry.
- PE license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (RISA, SAP2000, ETABS) or similar.
- Strong knowledge of IBC, ACI, AISC, and building codes.
Responsibilities
- Lead structural design and analysis for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Review, stamp, and take responsibility for structural drawings and calculations.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors through all project phases.
- Conduct site visits to assess structural conditions and ensure design intent.
- Identify and resolve structural challenges to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
