Job summary

RIMEPRO INC. seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to lead complex building projects from Raleigh, Greensboro, Charlotte, or Norfolk. You will serve as project manager or lead engineer, guiding design direction, mentoring juniors, and collaborating with architects to create safe, buildable structures with a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements include a PE license, 7+ years in building design, and a strong ability to lead and communicate with clients while delivering high-quality analyses and reports.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in building design consulting is required.
• MS in Structural Engineering preferred, PE license advantageous.
• Strong writing and client communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for structural systems analysis, developing designs, specifications, and calculations to code
• Perform site assessments and produce detailed analysis and technical reports
• Partner directly with clients to gather requirements and communicate technical information clearly
• Provide in process design reviews of structural systems, calculations, specifications, and correspondence
• Implement quality control processes to meet internal, industry, and client standards
• Provide technical training and mentoring, and help resolve field issues with minimal senior support
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions and support project interviews and presentations
• Stay current on industry trends and contribute to research and innovation efforts
