Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis (Master's Degree preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Minimum of 5+ years of structural engineering experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional projects.
• Strong proficiency with Revit Structure; AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structural systems.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes and structural design standards.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination software such as Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, or Bluebeam is preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop structural Revit models and construction drawing packages with minimal supervision.
• Design and coordinate structural systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood framing.
• Prepare foundation plans, framing plans, sections, details, and construction documents.
• Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to identify coordination and constructability issues.
• Participate in BIM coordination, clash detection, and multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Support project teams through design revisions, permit comments, RFIs, and as-built documentation.
• Maintain drawing quality and compliance with company BIM and drafting standards.
• Perform quality control reviews on project deliverables prior to final engineering review.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
