Job summary

COWI is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our North American team, focusing on prestigious infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with Technical Directors and PMs to prepare design documents, calculations, drawings and reports while coordinating across geotechnical, coastal, and other disciplines.

The role requires an MS in Structural Engineering, a PE license, and at least 10 years of experience including large-scale commercial or marine infrastructure.

Qualifications

• MS or higher degree in Structural Engineering and 10+ years of professional experience.
• PE license is required.
• Experience with large-scale commercial buildings and marine infrastructure.
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for concrete, steel, and timber.
• Prepare design basis documents, calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Interface with geotechnical, coastal, and other discipline specialists.
• Ensure conformance with codes, standards and client requirements.
• Provide construction administration and site inspections.
