Job summary

Farnsworth Group seeks a Sr. Structural Engineer to provide customer-oriented design and construction services across nationwide and Western Region clients. Posting locations include Chicago, Lisle, Normal, Peoria, Springfield, IL or St.

Louis, MO. You will perform structural analysis and design for building structures as well as Energy and Industrial projects, develop construction documents, and provide construction administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures
• 8-15 years of structural engineering experience
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry or wood
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment managing multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems
• Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team
