Farnsworth Group, a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join our team in Illinois. This role supports customers nationwide and in the Western Region, with posting locations including Chicago, Lisle, Normal, Peoria, Springfield, IL, and St.

Louis, MO. You will perform structural analysis and design for buildings and energy/industrial structures, develop construction documents, and lead construction administration and site

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• 8–15 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with design and construction administration of building structures (new and renovation).
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry or wood.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
• Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems.
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
• Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team.
