Job summary

Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) is seeking a highly experienced Structural Engineer - Mission Critical in a hybrid role. The candidate will lead complex structural design, mentor teams, and contribute to HED's engineering practice with expertise in RAM, RISA, ETABS and Enercalc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET/EAC accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Proficiency with RAM, RISA, ETABS and Enercalc; Revit preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural design for large, complex projects from concept through construction.
• Apply RAM, RISA, ETABS, Enercalc to deliver efficient, resilient structural solutions.
• Direct preparation and quality review of calculations, specifications, docs and reports.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders for integrated design.
• Lead or co-lead project meetings and client presentations.
• Provide expert-level support during construction administration and site visits.
