Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED) is seeking an accomplished Structural Engineer - Mission Critical with 8+ years of experience and a PE license. This role leads complex building projects, mentors teams, and works across disciplines to achieve design excellence.

Preferred SE licensure is welcomed, with RAM, RISA, ETABS, Enercalc expertise and Revit proficiency. The position embraces a hybrid work model in the U.S. with strong client engagement and innovation-driven practice.

Qualifications

• ABET/EAC-accredited degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience in a professional setting.
• Mastery of structural design software RAM, RISA, ETABS, Enercalc.
• Proficiency in Revit; Bluebeam and MS Office familiarity.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for large, complex building projects from concept through construction.
• Direct preparation and QA/QC of calculations, specs, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with architects, MEPs, civil engineers, and stakeholders for integrated designs.
• Lead or co-lead project meetings, client presentations, and key engagements.
• Provide on-site support during construction and respond to RFIs.
