Job summary

Farnsworth Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer to join our Texas-based team.

You will contribute to an experienced structural group with growth plans, playing a central role in expanding service markets in the western region, focusing on CO, TX, AZ, and surrounding states. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of structural engineering experience, a PE or SE licensure is preferred, and proficiency in Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with emphasis in structures.
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred.
• Experience with design and construction administration of semiconductor/clean room and/or industrial structures a plus.
• Experience designing with steel, concrete, masonry or wood.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment; ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems.
• Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services.
• Perform site visits, attend client meetings, and coordinate with the project team.
