Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company seeks an Advanced Engineer, Structural Systems, to lead structural engineering for major product development programs and ensure integrity across product platforms.

The role focuses on design, analysis, validation, and implementation to meet performance, cost, manufacturability, and regulatory requirements, with emphasis on cold-formed steel design and testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of structural or mechanical engineering experience; product development experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering activities for new product development and major product enhancement projects.
• Establish structural design criteria, analysis approaches, and validation plans to ensure product structural integrity and performance.
• Coordinate structural test programs including load, vibration, and seismic validation testing.
• Review and approve calculations, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Support global product platform teams in resolving structural issues and ensuring structural integrity across designs.
