M3 Engineering & Technology Corp. is seeking a seasoned structural engineer to perform design, analysis, and detailing for diverse buildings. You will lead structural modeling, coordinate with steel detailers, and mentor junior engineers while traveling for field support across multiple offices.

Ideal candidates hold a PE/SE license, a civil engineering degree with a structures emphasis, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and RISA-3D. Strong communication and organization are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years related engineering experience.
• Registered as a PE and/or SE.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in structures.
• Experience preparing and editing construction documents.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, RISA-3D, and MS Office.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidate must be able to travel, domestically & internationally, to other M3 offices and project sites to provide field support for new and ongoing projects.
• Must be able to work in a project team and maintain a project schedule, be a self-starter, detail-oriented and have exceptional organizational skills.
• Must be able to interact with clients and co-workers in a professional and respectful manner and work in a team environment sharing roles and responsibilities, with limited supervision.
• A valid passport or the ability to obtain one is required.
• Proficient with design codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, and ACI 318.

Aufgaben

• Structural design, analysis, calculations, 3D modeling, and drafting for various industrial, institutional buildings, and other structures as assigned.
• Assistance in design, field investigations, field engineering, material take-offs, surveys, and studies to complete project goals.
• Assisting in the preparation of project reports and construction documents and reviewing documents prepared by others.
• Overseeing and providing direction on the design and development of structural models and structural drawings and specifications.
• Working with and mentoring junior engineers in regular assignments.
• The position will also interact directly with structural steel detailers through the development of the detailed model and drawings.
