Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of building-related structural engineering experience across concrete, masonry, steel, and wood.
• Licensed PE in CA; SE license preferred.
• Experience leading teams of engineers on projects.
• Proficient with ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc.
• Experience with BIM and Revit workflow.
• Strong problem solving, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of commercial building materials and assemblies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to sustainable design and SE2050

Responsibilities

• Lead design of structural systems for diverse sectors.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project schedules.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers in integrated design.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and attend meetings.
• Support business development and RFP processes.
• Contribute to California Structural Discipline operations.
