Job summary

RIMEPRO INC. seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join its Forensics and Facility Performance team. Focus is on existing buildings with investigations, condition assessments, and restoration solutions.

You will lead projects from initial site work through design, collaborating with owners and multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in structural engineering, PE license, and strong skills in analysis, reporting, and client communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural engineering / building design consulting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or related Engineering discipline
• PE license required
• Strong experience with existing buildings and structural systems
• Forensic investigations, facility assessments, rehabilitation, restoration, or structural repair experience
• Strong technical analysis and report writing skills
• Experience with steel, concrete, wood, and masonry
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, materials, load paths, and building codes
• Project leadership and mentoring experience
• Strong client-facing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform forensic structural investigations and existing building evaluations
• Conduct facility condition assessments and site investigations
• Evaluate structural failures, deterioration, damage, and complex building conditions
• Develop repair, rehabilitation, and restoration solutions
• Support adaptive reuse, renovation, and historic building projects
• Prepare technical reports, assessments, calculations, and recommendations
• Design repairs involving steel, concrete, wood, and masonry systems
• Lead projects from initial investigation through design and implementation
• Work directly with building owners, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Support client relationships and new project opportunities
