Job summary

LJB Inc. is seeking a Senior-level Structural Engineer in Charlotte, NC, to lead fall protection projects within the Safety practice. The role focuses on analyzing, designing, planning, and fabricating structural components to support fall protection systems.

You will work with experienced professionals to deliver engineering solutions across industrial, commercial, and institutional environments, traveling as needed and contributing to the safety of workers nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, architectural, or mechanical engineering with structural emphasis.
• 8+ years of engineering experience in structural design, preferably for fall protection.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification.
• CAD experience with Revit and Bluebeam; RAM/STRAP or similar structural analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal teams to complete projects with plans, priorities, and deadlines.
• QC reviews of project calculations and deliverables.
• Analyze building components to support fall protection systems.
• Develop layouts for fall protection addressing client needs and coordinate with existing structures.
