Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Structural Engineer in a hybrid role based in New Jersey. The position involves detailed civil/structural design for electric transmission and distribution projects, including complex calculations, construction drawings, and field support.

The successful candidate will lead design efforts, review practices, and provide guidance to junior engineers while coordinating with project teams. Hybrid work includes three days in the office and two remote days.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in civil / structural engineering.
• Experience in performing complex civil / structural calculations and analysis.
• Experience in preparing construction drawings, including steel, aluminum, concrete structures and foundations.
• Experience in designing and detailing of steel transmission structures, including lattice steel towers and tubular steel poles / structures.
• Must have New Jersey P.E. License.
• Must be familiar with AutoCAD / MicroStation.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex civil / structural calculations and analysis
• Prepare construction drawings, including steel, aluminum, concrete structures and foundations
• Design and detail steel transmission structures, including lattice steel towers and tubular steel poles / structures
• Prepare existing structural and foundation reinforcement drawings
• Perform underground duct bank and manhole structural design
