Job summary

Stefanini Group is hiring a Structural Engineer in South Plainfield, NJ for a hybrid role with 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The candidate will design and analyze civil/structural aspects for electric transmission projects, prepare construction drawings, and provide field support.

Minimum 8 years of experience and a NJ PE license are required, with proficiency in PLSPOLE, PLSTOWER, RISA, and STAAD Pro.

Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering required.
Eight+ years in civil/structural engineering design and field/resident engineering on major projects.
Experience in complex civil/structural calculations and analysis.
Experience in construction drawings for steel, aluminum, concrete structures & foundations.
Knowledge of subsurface investigation and geology conditions.

Responsibilities

Perform complex civil/structural calculations and analysis.
Prepare construction drawings for steel, aluminum, concrete structures & foundations.
Design and detail steel transmission structures including lattice towers and tubular poles.
Prepare existing structural and foundation reinforcement drawings.
Perform underground duct bank and manhole structural design.
