Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Indiana team. The role focuses on design of concrete and steel bridges and related structures for INDOT and other DOT clients, with responsibility for analyses, calculations, and PS&E development.

Location is Indiana, with collaboration across Lochner offices and a commitment to on-time, on-budget project delivery. The ideal candidate has a BSCE (MSCE preferred), an Indiana PE license, and 10+ years of DOT bridge experience, plus

Qualifications

• BSCE is required, MSCE is preferred.
• Indiana PE license is required.
• Must be in Indiana or willing to relocate within 6 months.
• 10+ years of DOT bridge design experience with preventative maintenance, rehabilitation and reconstruction of existing steel and concrete bridges.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee concrete and steel bridges and related structures for INDOT and other DOT clients.
• Prepare design and contract documents (PS&Es) in accordance with state/local requirements.
• Manage project schedule, scope, budget, and client relationships.
• Conduct site visits and assist in bridge inspections.
• Collaborate across Lochner offices to deliver projects on time and within budget.
