Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer for the Sentinel program, located in Roy, UT. This full-time role may include a competitive relocation package and requires a DoD Secret Clearance.

The technician will perform structural analyses, design considerations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust engineering solutions for aerospace structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or STEM with 5+ years of experience; or Master's with 3+ years; or PhD with 1+ year.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain SAP (Special Program Access).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with adjacent disciplines in a highly integrated team.
• Experience with structural analysis and CAD tools for analysis.
• Experience with thermal analysis and MATLAB-based data manipulation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, researches and develops structural engineering specifications for products and operations.
• Perform structural modeling and analysis using CAD and software tools.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, aerodynamics, stress analysis, design, and test teams.
