Job summary

RQ Construction in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering group. You will focus on structural analysis, developing CAD models, and reviewing project drawings to ensure safety and design compliance, while taking on leadership responsibilities and coordinating with stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in structural design and project delivery, a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, and a PE license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
• 15+ years of experience in structural design and project delivery, or equivalent in industrial construction.
• Experience managing DoD projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, RISA, Revit, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and develop CAD models for projects.
• Review project drawings to ensure safety and design compliance.
• Provide leadership by guiding project teams and coordinating with stakeholders.
