MBC Talent Connections in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for DoD construction programs. This on-site role requires a strong background in steel, concrete, and masonry, with leadership duties across multiple projects.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with architects and construction teams, and ensure submittals, RFPs, and plans meet high standards. A PE license and 15+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 15+ years of structural engineering design experience in industrial construction.
• DoD project experience preferred; proficiency in Revit and RISA software.

Responsabilités

• Lead structural design & analysis across complex DoD projects.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, and specs for gravity framing, lateral systems, and foundations.
• Produce structural models and details using Revit and coordinate with project disciplines.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage multiple projects.
• Support submittals, QA/QC, and cost control during construction.
• Review RFIs and ensure design integrity on site.
