Job summary

NAVFAC Southeast in Jacksonville, FL seeks a structural engineer to perform and lead complex analyses and designs for DoD facilities. Qualifications

• Providing structural engineering analysis and expertise for designs on a wide range of complex projects.
• Preparing work drawings and technical specifications for the structural portion on construction projects.
• Performing field investigations to verify existing conditions for the design.
• Providing technical specifications and assisting with cost estimates for project funding.
• Managing assigned projects from cradle to grave for budget, schedule, and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform structural analysis and design for DoD facilities and related structures.
• Review shop drawings, delegated designs, VECPs, and respond to RFIs with technical accuracy.
• Develop architect and engineering statements of work and oversee design scope and budgets.
• Coordinate with NAVFAC teams to ensure compliance with contract documents and standards.
