Barton & Loguidice is seeking a resourceful Senior Structural Engineer for our Syracuse or Rochester, NY offices. You will provide high-level structural engineering services for diverse municipal, commercial, private, and industrial facilities, while mentoring junior staff and coordinating multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering required.
8–15+ years of diverse consulting engineering experience in municipal, commercial, private or industrial facilities.
Strong analytical and project-management capabilities; able to manage small to large projects.

Responsibilities

Engage clients and manage project communications.
Prepare and review design reports, drawings and specifications.
Perform structural analysis and design for buildings and systems.
Supervise junior engineers and review their work.
Lead proposal development and project-fee discussions.
Verify construction projects for compliance with plans and specs.
