Job summary

Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C. seeks a Senior Structural Engineer for our Syracuse or Rochester, NY offices. You will provide high-level engineering services for municipal, commercial, and industrial facilities, leading design teams and coordinating with clients.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering with 8-15+ years of experience, strong knowledge of ACI/AISC codes, and NY PE eligibility or in progress.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Architectural Engineering with 8-15+ years of diverse consulting experience.
• Able to design and manage projects with strong analytical skills.
• Familiar with ACI, AISC, and State building codes.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer in NY (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Client engagement and interaction with clients.
• Proposal and fee development for projects.
• Project site investigations to support designs.
• Structural analysis and design for buildings and systems.
• Preparation and review of design reports, drawings and specs.
• Verification of construction projects for conformance with plans.
