Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to conduct critical structural analyses, review designs, and optimize across design-build and design-bid-build projects in NYC. The role requires a PE license, a BS in Civil Engineering (Structural), and 4+ years of experience.

Proficiency in ETABS, RAM, SAP2000, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks is expected. You will collaborate with geotechnical, architectural, and MEP disciplines, coordinating with the team to mitigate risk and

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural) from an accredited program.
Professional Engineer (Structural) license required.
Design experience across all design/construction phases.

Responsibilities

Perform technical reviews to assess constructability and sequencing.
Review and evaluate project designs, obligations, and deliverables.
Assess project documentation including drawings, specs, calculations, and shop drawings.
Analyze structural systems and identify optimization opportunities.
Propose design/constructability solutions to the team.
Document review activities in formal reports and memos.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve coordination.
