Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to support the Advanced Manufacturing team. You will perform analyses, build structural models, and design calculations for data center projects, coordinating with Jacobs offices domestically and internationally.

Requires a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, 8+ years of experience, PE licensure, and proficiency with CAD and analysis tools. Hybrid work model in the U.S. with travel up to 20% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 8+ years of professional structural engineering experience
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to become registered in additional states
• Knowledge of CAD software (AutoCad, Revit, MicroStation, S3D)
• Proficiency with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD)
• Knowledge of ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, AIST Technical Report 13 and related design codes
• Knowledge of Building Codes
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and MS Teams for remote coordination
• Travel to client sites (10–20%)
