Job summary

Michels Corporation is hiring a Senior Engineer - Structural at Mi-Tech Services, Inc. in Salt Lake City, UT. This role focuses on designing a variety of structures for utility and infrastructure projects. Candidates should be proficient in MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and possess a PE license.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
• Basic knowledge of geotechnical engineering and related structures is a plus.
• Previous construction field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop calculation submittals.
• Coordinate development of design and shop drawings.
• Support project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses.
• Mentor and support other engineers.
• Communicate and coordinate with design and field teams.
• Provide support to the Principal Engineer with other assigned duties.
