Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with concentration in Structural Engineering.
• PE license in NJ, NY or PA or ability to obtain NY, NJ or PA PE within six months.
• 15–20 years' progressive experience in bridge/building design, evaluation and rehabilitation.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with structural design and analysis software such as STAAD.

Responsibilities

• Supervise structural analyses, design and detailing of infrastructure projects.
• Direct the preparation of contract plans, specifications and estimates.
• Visit project sites that may be under construction to collect information.
• Write or assist in the writing of reports, specifications, and correspondence.
• Review and respond to contractor submittals such as working drawings and RFIs.
• Interact with clients and contractors.
• Market the firm's services.
• Assist with preparing proposals.
