• Bachelor's degree in an engineering specialty.
• Three years of work experience involving structural engineering principles.
• Professional Structural Engineer license (Hawaii) or eligibility to obtain.

• Coordinate and oversee development of plans, reports, permits, specs and cost estimates for bridges, walls, drainage and other structures.
• Participate in consultant selection and contract negotiations.
• Monitor project schedule, review consultant invoices, and prepare contract amendments.
