Jobot is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer in Illinois to lead inspections and structural evaluations across the state. You will guide a specialized inspection team, perform field work, and deliver high-quality reports that support transportation infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes leadership, technical oversight, and collaboration with design and analysis teams. A PE or SE license and extensive bridge experience are required, with travel to bridge sites as needed.

• Strong technical report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to perform field inspections and travel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Illinois bridge inspection team leader designation or applicable qualifications.
• Experience with IDOT bridge inspection projects and procedures.
• Familiarity with NBIS requirements and FHWA bridge inspection standards.
• Experience with bridge load ratings, structural analysis, and rehabilitation recommendations.
• Experience managing inspection teams, project schedules, and client deliverables.
